L&L Inc., is a small family owned and operated timber harvesting company, based in Sutherlin, Oregon. L&L was founded in 1986 by Louis and Lori Mann, who are both still active in the company today along with sons, Terry and Ted.   
     At L&L Inc. we specialize in all aspects of commercial timber harvesting, from thinning to final harvest on all types of terrain, utilizing ground-based and cable logging systems. 
     Our mission is to practice "responsible forestry today" and by doing so, create  "healthy forests for the future".  We believe that logs and other forest products should be a by-product of responsible forestry operations. To quote well known conservationist, Aldo Leopold  "I have read many definitions of what is a conservationist, and have written not a few myself, but I suspect that the best one is not written with a pen , but with an axe.  It is a matter of what a man thinks about while he is chopping, or deciding what to chop.  A conservationist is one who is humbly aware that with each stroke he is writing his signature on the face of his land."
